BARTOLOMEO AND HIS NEW POWERS

Now Bartolomeo is a fan favorite character who is adored in the community because he himself is a fan of the straw hats. In this theory, I will talk about how his powers might improve. I will not be talking about awakening in this theory.

Bartolomeo has eaten the Bari-Bari no mi. Now before we actually see his power ups, lets see his limitations.(Apart from the standard devil fruit limitations)

• He has to cross his fingers to create barriers.
• He can produce only one barrier at a time with a max area of 50,000 Bari Baris as stated by Oda.
• His barriers has to be in contact with something solid. Though not stated explicitly, all the barriers he has created are touching something solid.

Now let's talk about his power ups. His first limitation will be used by Oda as long as he finds it funny. So this is something I can't say anything about.

Now if Bartolomeo can create multiple barriers, it will make him seriously strong. He can attack and defend at the same time. He can protect people he wants to protect and attack the enemy. Making him really overpowered.

If he can overcome his third limitation, he will be able to fly. He can create a podium and carry s many people with it. He can create constructs and wave it around. (Like swinging a baseball bat). This actually makes him a lot like green lantern, Yes he might not be able to create lasers, robots, dragons or missiles but he can create pretty much any solid construct green lantern can such as swords, bubble barriers, fists etc.

 

In fact, if he can trap an enemy inside a barrier, he can contain that person. He can do this to even seriously strong people such as Akainu and make them completely useless.

But this might not work on Balck beard or Kizaru because Devil fruit powers are useless on BB and Light seems to be the only thing that can penetrate Bartolomeos's barriers which is what Kizaru is. But none the less trapping someone like Akainu requires tremendous strength which might not be there in Bartolomeo's barriers and Akainu can just break it and come out.(I'll talk about this later)

We might see a lot of Luffy based attacks as well such as Bari Bari no Gattling gun, Bari Bari no Giant pistol, Bari Bari no Bazooka etc.


Also, I said that Bartolomeo's barriers might get broken if he traps someone like Akainu. Now, this is very much possible.


And it is only once the barrier breaks, will Bartolomeo get stronger. Because until then he will be like 'Do whatever you want. I will chill within this barrier'. Once Bartolomeo's barrier breaks, he will start using the barriers differently. He might use them offensively.

If he learns haki, he can infuse his haki within his barriers to make them stronger. This way he can create much stronger barriers which will not break.

And since haki is pretty similar to will power, this makes Bartolomeo even more similar to GL because even his barriers are powered by willpower.

THE KINGDOM OF ELBAF

How the kingdom of Elbaf is structured !

Firstly I want to clarify for all that Elbaf has a visible Viking/Norse theme so all my analysis will be based mostly on norse mythology. In the norse cosmology there are Nine Homeworlds connected from the tree Yggdrasil as follows:

l. These are:

1. Asgard, the home of the Æsir ruled by the god Odin

2. Álfheimr/Ljósálfheimr, the home of the Ljósálfar

3. Niðavellir/Svartálfaheimr, the home of the Dwarves who are also synonymous with the Dökkálfar and Svartálfar

4. Midgard (Earth), the home of humans

5. Jötunheimr/Útgarðr, the home of the Jötnar (Giants)

6. Vanaheimr, the home of the Vanir

7. Niflheim, a world of ice and snow

8. Muspelheim, a world of fire and lava and home of the Jötunn Surtr

9. Hel(heimr), the home of the dishonorable dead sometimes synonymous with (Located within) Niflheim and ruled by the goddess Hel


and there are six races:


1. Menn (humans): Miðgarðr.

2. Aesir (gods): Ásgarðr.

3. Vanir (gods): Vanaheimr.

4. Jötnar (giants): Jötunheimr/Útgarðr.

5. Álfar (elves): Álfheimr/Ljósálfheimr.

6. Náir (corpses, the dishonorable dead): Helheimr.


Yggdrasil

The world tree conects all homeworlds and as others have speculated it might be the Treasure Tree Adam. Well I’m gonna tell you it is Adam because as Franky told us the Adam tree withstood a great war and the inhabitants always came and built their civilisation around it and I believe this story is that of the war between 20 kings and AK. Secondly, and most importantly the Yggdrasil is an ash tree, and guess what in japan the ash tree is called Aodamo( quite fitting isn’t it 


On the top of the Yggdrasil resides a giant eagle and as @Monkey D Theories said it could be a giant thunderbird protecting Elbaf and this thunderbird might have arrived from Roger by that big egg on his ship.




Along the trunk travels the squirrel Ratatoskr carrying insults between the dragon Nidhugg and the Giant Thunderbird and this squirrel can be a sor of Tanuki, finally the guys will see a real Tanuki and stop calling Chopper that name 




Midgard

This is obviously going to be the island where the SH will first arrive at sea level with Yggdrasil’s trunk at it’s center. I think this serves as a place where different races from Giants to humans interact and trade together. Also Midgard is protected by a deer maybe Bropper can befriend it 

Asgard

Asgard is a top of the tree and is the place where Gods reside. Here is the main castle of God Elbaf which as noted by @Monkey D Theories is based on Odin the Allfather but I believe that’s pretty obvious and is further reaffirmed by the fact one of the princes is named Loki. I think God Elbaf is the oldest giant, the very founder of Elbaf, and ofc strongest one having 3 types of Haki. He is accompained by the wolves Geri and Freki that devour entire banquets and I believe they will loose an eating contest with Luffy and the ravens Huginn and Muninn (thought and memory) who bring him info from all over his kingdom and rides the flying steed steed Sleipnir.


I think God Elbaf has 2 sons Loki who is an expert in CoO and Thor that mastered CoA.

Secondly another important place in Asgard is Valhalla, the hall of the honourable dead. I think here reside the best of Elbaf warriors, the army BM wanted so much, in halls where they train with the warrior prince of strength Thor and here is the place Usopp will so much admire.

Last but not the least, in a special place in Valhalla may reside the last Road Poneglyph. Why? Because Odin is also asociated with the rune script, and for those who do not know Oda was inspired to create the Poneglyphs from the real runestones and OP itself was inspired by Vikings, so im 100% sure the great warriors of Elbaf can protect this stone.

Vanaheim

The home of the Vanir, the Gods before Aesir reside here. Now there is only one place we have actually seen use the title of God instead of king and yes that is another island in the Sky; Skypeia.

I think there was another kingdom to use the title of God and that is the now destroyed Birka. Birka has a highly religious island as we have seen from Enel and his priests, the only survivours but also from the Mad Monk Urogue another survivour. Also the name Birka, comes from a scandinavian city of Birka.

But how did they communicate with Elbaf. Well I believe the giants used the famous Bifrost-the rainbow bridge, guarded by the allseeing god Heimdallr. I think Birka and Elbaf interacted a lot in the past before Enel destroyed the link between them.

Other things they have in common is also the ability Odin and Heimdallr have which is to see everything happening on the 9realms and I think it is a product of Mantra, the same way Enel used it to oversee everything happening in Skypeia. Also Gan Fall, God of Skypeia, which was near Birka rode a flying horse maybe like Odin’s steed, and about Urogue’s weapon which is like a big pillar, Oda stated in an SBS it is an oversized pencil, maybe it is really a pencil made for the Giants he took grab before falling on the sea after Birka’s destruction.

Usopp and Elbaf

As we all know Elbaf arc is going to be Usopp’s arc and is his dream to go in this island. Im gonna be a little creative on this part and I will base his quest like the tale of the Brave tailorAfter SH disembark in Midgard and be greeted by Hajrudin I think he would have told Elbaf warriors about the great deeds God Usopp has made. Some of Valhalla's warriors will laugh and not believe a small man can be that strong but Usopp will prove them wrong by accidentaly knocking off 7 of them like a dominoe chain reaction and defeat 7 of them in one blow. Impressed with the eyes poping out the other warriors will invite him in Asgard to meet God Elbaf. Here i think Usopp will accidentaly accept a challenge by God Elbaf, thinking it will be an aknowledgement of his strength but actually they are a set of tests for the strongest of warriors. Why you ask? Well since as I said Elbaf is very similar to Birka, Enel reserved for visitors the or Orderals which were 4 Orderals with very few chances of passing them. I think Usopp will face these 4 Orderals too which he will pass through his wittness:

-Orderal of Speed-administered by Freyr. Here Usopp mist catch a golden hair of Gullinbursti the golden boar that swims very fast. Usopp will drain the water through his black pachinko making Gullinbursti unable to swim fast anymore then shoot at him catching the whole beast not just a hair.

-Orderal of Precission-administered by the guard Heimdallr a master of CoO which he must shoot something far away where he will triumph by his CoO and master sniping.

-Orderal of Truth-administered by the trickster Prince Loki. This will be a test of mind where Usopp must reason to see through Lokis deception and I think he will make Loki loose his cover by shouting a lie making him show the trick accidentally in a comical way.

-Orderal of Strength- administred by Prince Thor where he must throw sonething as far as he can. Si ce all weapons are made for giants and are very heavy Usopp will try to lie the giants with his Usopp hammer but mistakingly he will grab Thor's hammer the Mjolnir a weapon that only the worthy can carry making every giant in the room including hinself pop the eyes out of their skulls .

Before the last Orderal of Bravery will be carried by God Elbaf himself they shall be interrupted from an attack either marines or BM or whomever will be the bad guys of this arc leaving the question ofbravery unresolved maybe until he reaches his dream 


Now for the remaining territories of Elbaf which are located u der the earth I believe a great foreshadow was this:


Yes the fire and ice parts of Punk Hazard I think represend the two remaining worlds:

Muspelheim

The primordial fire i think will be located ubder the earth. Here it will be inhabitated by Dwarves which i think resemble a famous figure we know


and also Oda intended to make a dwarf shipright too for the SH.


The Klaubtermann are spirits in German folklore that inhabit ships like the obe we have seen or mines. I think he will fuse the mine Klaubtermanns with the dwarven blacksmiths of norse mythology. They will be the ones to craft the rare Adam Wood and maybe even mine and forge the rare Liquore Iron out of the heats of Muspelheim.

Now the second thing about this realm is this:


Yes I think in Muspelheim just like on flame Punk Hazard lives the great dragon Nidhugg gnawing at the roots of the tree abd this is a real dragon. Nidhugg lives with other serpents(dragons) there one of which i think right now is on Wano.

Why there you ask?

Well I think Zorro as the 'reincarnation' of Ryuma will slay this dragon Kinemon hates so much being a hero for Wano Kongdom. And to those who think the dragon is asiatic i must tell you that in Ryuma's story which Oda has incorporated in OP timeline the dragon was european abd he was being controlled by this:


I think Kaido somohow managed to grab hold of that horn which is in Elbaf to control the dragon and furthermore that horn is similar to these horns used by Vikings/Elbafians too:


and in norse mythology there is a magicalhorn the Gjallahorn kept by Heimdallr.


Niflheim

The world of primordial ice where the frost giants abide. On Punk Hazard on the ice part wad Ceasar's lab and as mentioned by some if Vegapunk is on Elbaf his lab might be here. Also I wanna note that the giants like Oars or Kaido which quite probably are some WG experiment represent the Frost Giants.

Remeber how Oars was found by Moria in an icy place where he died and how Kaido's residence is in a winter island, it's like they have an affinity for ice. Here the SH might meet the children of Punk Hazard abd Dr Vegapunk will finally explain the mechanisms of Devil Fruits as Oda has said, also it will be narrated in conection to the tree Adam-Yggdrasil and the tree Eve probably.


Ragnarok

As we all know the Ragnarok is tge foretold apocalypse of norse mythology. I think it us sonething the giants of Elbaf believe too whene the Gods-WN will fall and freedom will triumph. I'd like to note three curious analogies here:

1-It is said that when the world encircling snake Jormungandr releases his tail and falls beneath the sea the Ragnarok will begin abd the world will be taken in great tides. And that is the great serpent soaked in blood blood mentioned by dory and brogy the Red Line.

2-When Jormungandr will fall from the depths of Hel will rise the ship of the dead Naglfar made from the nails of the dead.

This is to support those thoughts tgat the battleship Pluton is in Elbaf underground because Naglfar is in Hel and Pluton is the god of the dead and is located u derground. Also another mythological ship , Skíðblaðnirwith the ability to fit into ones pocket and ve summoned when you need it. This is the same like Pluton that the shipwrights of Water7 fitted in their pockets through the blueprients waiting to be built again when needed.

If you have read this chapter you must be know the story of the giants with Big mom and we also know how strong the giants is

The word that comes from Chiffon, proof how strong Elbaf is, if we look carefuly, The giants of Elbaf Country especially The prince of Elbaf here dare to talk with BM because he didn't like BM try to fool him and switch lola with chiffon, and if we read carefuly this meant that BM can not do anything to The elbaf while they're angry, even this fight between them never end 'till now.

Dosen't that mean that Elbaf as strong as BM?
or maybe Elbaf stronger than BM which they can make THE YONKO "BIG MOM" CAN NOT DO ANYTHING.

First I still don't know which one was Stronger between Blackbeard or Shanks... Because We haven't seen Shanks true power is... So I can't choose between them both..But it doesn't matter because this thread disscuss about BM and then now... Why I stated that Shanks is Stronger than Kaido?

Kaido wanted to die. He's a beast even get arrested by marine and executed for 18 times and he's still not dead....you know the rest 


Compared to big mom

- Big mom can't win (or tie) against Elbaf
- There's no a big fight with her yet (like Shanks vs Kaido or attack marineford etc)

Will Goku lose in the tournament ?

Over the past few weeks, a series of controversial arguments have been brought up in the Dragon Ball fandom. The franchise recently threw fans into a tailspin when Dragon Ball Super initiated its newest story arc. The ‘Universal Survival’ saga kicked off after Goku boldly approached the Omni-Kings to request they hold a multiverse martial arts tournament. They were happy to oblige, but the rest of the universes were not pleased to learn their ranking in the event would determine whether or not their homes were obliterated.

Within the span of a few episodes, Dragon Ball Super managed to convince scores of fans Goku was going dark-side. Theories popped up about the Saiyan’s potential heel turn as fans pointed out foreshadowing shots and dialogue quips. However, for other fans, Goku’s apparently turnabout was anything but nefarious. Rather, they thought it was a rather clever misdirect.

As Dragon Ball fans know, Goku is someone who loves to fight. The franchises’s creator has even stressed that Goku’s desire to fight overrules everything else; In fact, Toriyama has gone so far as to say Goku is not very heroic or altruistic with his skill set. When it comes down to it, Goku fights for chaotic-neutral reasons as he gets off on the adrenaline that comes with beatdowns.

For Goku to present himself as a villainous figure in Dragon Ball Super - well, it’s not totally unheard. The character has no inherent desire to be a hero but rather to fight. And, really, who’s to say Goku isn’t presenting himself as a target on purpose?

Goku wanted the Omni-Kings to host the Tournament of Power because he was bored and wanted to fight. The hero was smarting after his long-held battle with Goku Black, and there was no one in Universe 7 who could appease his need to fight save for Beerus and Whis. However, even with a multiverse tournament at hand, Goku may have felt concerned he wasn’t going to get the most out of his competitors. So, what better way to ensure his opponents go all out that to make them think Goku is really a villain?

In the past, Goku has said he fights best under pressure and when his opponents are gunning against his full-force. The Saiyan was disappointed with his most recent fight against Bergamo because the Universe 9 warrior hesitated to go all-out. However, next week, Goku appears to be in a better mood as he gets to fight Toppo of Universe 11 after the other fighter accuses Goku of being a villain out to end the multiverse.

If Goku is purposely setting himself up to be a villain, then the Saiyan is smarter than anyone gives him credit for. And, yes, a bit on the irresponsible side as well. For all fans know, the theories about Goku asking the Omni-Kings to lie about the multiverse’s possible annihilation could be true as well. In order to light a fire under his competitors, Goku could have called in the favor, and no one will be the wiser until the Tournament of Power comes to an end.

The tournament is going to be an all out battle royal ( like in wrestling if you know ) and while Goku managed to upset every universe and turned them against him , my prediction is that at the beggining of the fight every fighter from the universe's except Goku's will rush at him . Even Goku can`t deal with so many strong opponents at the same time and that's why i say he will lose.

One Piece 858 - The Meeting REVIEW

One Piece 858 - Meeting

So we're getting a Norse-themed Elbaf. Cool. Which means in the future, perhaps, the King of Elbaf will be called "Odin"...or "Laufey", since Loki is a Jotunn. Depends on which route Oda chooses to take. Makes sense, it's not an uncommon thing for fantasy Giants to be based on them. I just hope Oda doesn't make them too silly looking, or silly. But all the Giants so far in the story have been pretty bad-ass so I'm not too worried.

With Elbaf being based on Norse Mythology (possibly), does that mean we're going to get another Ragnarok prophecy story-trope? It's common in fantasy, but in One Piece, I trust Oda could put an original spin on it. It kind of...ties in with the story as a whole. Because Oda has been eluding to a new "Dawn" of the OP world and Ragnarok is pretty much a great war that will take place between the Gods and their enemies. Something to consider here.

Also, Loki, who is commonly known throughout Norse mythology to be the God of Mischief, just happened to be the one mentioned when wanting to marry Lola? There's something more to this.

Anyway, the other things in the chapter worth mentioning:

• - Nami-swaaan looks hot in mafia style clothing

• - With Zoro heading towards Wano, Nami is currently the next highest ranking member of the Straw-Hats. Although most fans don't really see it this way, I'm glad Oda decided to put her at Luffy's right. According to business etiquette in Asian cultures, where people sit in meetings have tremendous weight. Although I don't really count Chopper, and I assume he's only directly to Luffy's left because he's prone to getting hurt and should be protected at all times being the ship's primary doctor. So directly after him, it is Sanji, so the hierarchy is complete. Perhaps this doesn't mean a lot to most fans but it's still really cool to see.

• - Advisor Jinbei at it again.

• - Straw-Hats looking good. Too bad it's not quite the same as Strong World level attire. Nami-swaaaan

• - It looks like Caesar Clown is actually a third quantity of his own in this alliance and not under Bege completely, with the way the chapter presented the relationships. So it's possible we'll be getting a betrayal of Bege by Caesar if any opportunity arises.

• - Since when drinking a bottle of milk gets your tooth back ? Heh il try to do the same but im glad he got the tooth back. Look, I don't mind Luffy getting scar, but no need for a missing tooth. We need Luffy's full smile when he becomes Pirate King. Wouldn't be right otherwise. Roger had a full set of teeth and I can't imagine how many mountain crushing punches to the face Garp has given him. There's no excuse! Lol.

• - Viewing chopper without his hat its kinda SCARY... or eh in my opinion

• - Capone's Bege sworn brother GANGSTER GASTINO . didn't see that coming but i think Caesar Clown looks way more cooler than this. And now he is a dog for Bege because of bege having his heart

• - Luffy is luffy... the scene where he try to punch Bege is very cool not only that luffy dosen't give a crap about Bege but he is more concern about Pekoms who got shot by him

What are your toughts about this "Perfect" plan bege is talking about? I must say it has to be kinda perfect if they want to defeat a Yonko.

We all remember when Madam Shyarly said that luffy will destroy Fishman Island ... we dont know how or when. All i know that is madam shyarly prediction is 200% right and she predicted the Great Age of Pirates as well as Whitebeard's death

The key is Caribou and Shirahoshi ( Ancient Weapon - Poseidon ) 
Caribou got caught by X-Drake who is under Kaido recently. Somehow he will tell him about Shirahoshi Ability

We know that Kaido will do anything to Powerup his Army like we've seen in smile deal with Doflamingo ( Gifters ) then Kaido will go to steal it from Fishmand island and luffy will hear from someone ( Jinbei maybe ) the situation luffy will try to follow Kaido and stop him

Science of One Piece Part 1: The technology of Moon People

Hello once again everyone and welcome to yet another theory for your entertainment. This time I have a special 3 part theory for you all that I've delayed for 2 months. This theory is nothing more than a set up for the 2nd part of the series so this one will be short.

As always, I'll get straight to the point.

With "Lineage Factor" Vegapunk was able to create artificial devil fruits & dragons(I said in an earlier theory that only zoans are copied as they are the only ones with DNA to work with).

Vinsmoke Judge was able to use the same principles of Lineage Factor modify the DNA of his children to give him superpowers that resembles Zoan fruits(judging from Reiju).

The side effects however gave them curly eyebrows

Just like the curly pattern of Devil Fruits.

Here is a color panel of Sanji looking for a UFO.

Oda also joked about Sanji being an alien in an SBS.

All of this because the technology originated from the moon.

D: Excuse me!! May I pose a serious question to the typically-vulgar SBS?? In Volume 46, Usopp said that the same power doesn't exist twice. But this doesn't make sense with what you said in the Volume 45 SBS... If the Gomu Gomu no Mi was in a book of fruits, then Luffy HAD to have eaten at least the SECOND known example of the fruit! Now, most beautiful and intelligent Ei-chan, explain it all! ✩ P.N. Takafi

O: Very sharp of you. But I'm cool. I haven't made any mistakes. As a hint, let me rephrase what Usopp is saying. "The same powers don't exist twice AT THE SAME TIME". How's that? For more detail, you'll just have to wait for a certain professor to make his appearance in the story, and explain exactly what the Devil Fruits REALLY are... Eventually.

Oda said indirectly said that Dr. Vegapunk, a scientist, will tell us how devil fruits work. This tells us that devil fruits can be explained by science and not some uber supernatural bullshit. 

Also, technology being from the moon is a reference to the common belief that aliens are more technology advanced than humans and that aliens taught humans how to build. 

THE MOON SPECIES

The moon people had a city that is run almost entirely on mechanics. Also, check this out.

Here(and in the panel at the beginning) you can see the winged people creating the automata soldiers. Why are they creating soldiers? Vinsmoke Judge said it best.

The Moon people were at war with each other. Remember that there are 6 moons.

To further their efforts, the winged people created combat dials.

Anyways, why were the moons at war?

This becomes more believable if you consider the possibly that the lineage of these certain people traces back to the moon. 

The winged people found residence in Skypiea.

Where do the Tenryuubito reside? Way above the blue sea and near the clouds...definitely...

Need more? Notice how the clocks on these spaces pirates resembles the "badges" on the Tenryuubito uniforms.

The Automatas? 

Those became the blueprints for the future Pacifistas.

Anyways, the war of the moons desotroyed the resources of the winged races so they were forced to head to Vearth.

The Shandians settled in Jaya, an island in the blue sea.

Have you ever wondered why the Shandians settled in the blue sea instead of Skypia? Look at this.

Notice the animal head?

The Shandians traveled to & from the blue sea(which explains the animal helmet) for most likely, food. 

I'm also willing to bet that the Shandians becames friends with the Ancient Kingdom and shared their technology, helping make the Ancient Kingdom the most advanced and successful kingdom of its time. 

The Birkans & Skypians however lived in isolation away from preying eyes. 

It was the Void Century war that caused the moon technology to spread to other nations, allowing guys like this to rediscover their tech & utilize it.

I'll end it with this: Do you know what the greatest technological creation of the moon people is? Uranus. However, you have to wait for part 2 for more
